Forbidden Faith

When Queen Mera’s wild son, Noah, takes the throne ahead of his honorable elder brother, she hopes he will mend his ways. Instead he corrupts the kingdom and dishonors his young wife. Mera fears she is to blame. She should have raised him better. Could she change him now?

Meanwhile, Noah’s wife, Tamar, seethes with fury over his indiscretions, false promises, and neglect of their marriage and son. She fears they will never regain the love they once shared, but refuses to give up on him.

In a time when faith is forbidden, both women walk a perilous line between keeping peace with the king and honoring the truth in their hearts. But they can’t walk that line forever.

Praise for Forbidden Faith

“This is a book that I can see myself enjoying again and again but also giving to friends and family, young and old, to enjoy with me. If you’re looking for a quick but enthralling and thought-provoking read, I highly recommend that you pick up a copy as soon as possible.” – Marie, Exponent II

“This is a wonderful, spell-binding read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and absorbing it. It is full of Gospel centered truths and lessons. I gave it a 5 star rating because I think it is very well written and an enjoyable book to read. We don’t often think about the trials the women faced in times of old, but this book brought them to life. I love reading historical fiction and this book ranks with some of my favorites. Hope these two authors will continue writing and we will see more of these type works in the future.” – KR, amazon review

“I love it. As I read the Book of Mormon about King Noah, it is easy to assume he came from his mother’s womb as a wicked person. You have presented a plausible way of him “becoming” wicked King Noah! What a treasure. I am looking forward to future installments!” – Al M, Facebook

“I really appreciated the quiet strength in the face of very difficult family relationships that were portrayed by these two women.” – Bev R, iBooks review

“I am almost thirteen and I just finished this book. I have read a lot of books and I have only had a few favorites including this one. I love this book because there aren’t many books that talk about the women of the bible. When I picked up this book I thought that it was just going to be another book, but after I got through the first chapter I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in just a couple of days. I love how when you are reading it you feel like you are really there with them going through their struggles and joys. I am waiting for the next book to be published and it is killing me! I definitely rate this book as my top favorite reads.” – BC, amazon review

“Reading about King Noah’s life through the eyes of women is an interesting way to view him. Also, the identity of Abinadi adds mystery to the book. The back story of why a righteous king like Zeniff would have given control of his kingdom to his obviously sinful son is also well-thought-out.” – Elizabeth Reid, Deseret News

“This book is amazing!! I couldn’t put it down and read it in two days! The writing will draw you in and make you feel as though you’re in the story with the characters. You feel their pain and sorrow and joy with them. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great Christian fiction novel! Mechel Wall and R. H. Roberts did a fantastic job on this novel and I can’t wait to read what they publish next!” – Shanan E, amazon review

“This is a story I’ve read many times in The Book of Mormon, but fictionalized to show it from the perspective of the women that would have been close to the events. Very interesting!” – Julie, Goodreads
